Senior Programs
Seniors enjoy services such as translation, transportation, counseling and home health visits.

BILINGUAL TRANSLATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES. Services include translation and interpretation, income tax preparation, immigration counseling and medical services assistance. Some of the services include, but are not limited to: Completing Medi-cal and Medi-caid applications, Resolving PG&E/SMUD and telephone bill disputes, Translating and interpreting letters, Making phone calls to clarify issues, and scheduling medical appointments.

SENIOR COMPANION PROGRAM. Companionship and assistance to the homebound elderly. Provides services for the homebound elderly such as transportation, crisis intervention, interpretation, advocacy, home health visits, and access to community programs. During 2007 the senior companions provided 4,600 hours of volunteer time. They assisted their clients with transportation, personal care, and provided quality companionship and social time.

REFUGEE SOCIAL SERVICES. Services for elderly refugees including transportation, crisis intervention, interpretation, advocacy, home health visits and access to community programs.
